第１回Ethics across the Curriculum（EAC）ワークショップ

　
１ ． 開催の趣旨
　Ethics across the Curriculumワークショップ（EACWS）はイリノイ工科大学のマイケル・デイビス氏が中心となり、1990年から国立科学財団（NSF）の支援を受けて実施してきたもので、「工学などの専門教員（倫理を専門としない）が、自ら担当する専門科目の中に、専門職倫理教育の要素をどのようにして取り込むかを実技を通して学ぶ」ためのものです（2003年にイリノイ工科大学で実施されたEACWS概要はhttp://www.iit.edu/departments/csep/eac/EAC_2003.pdf参照）。
　今回金沢で開催するワークショップは、通常７日間の上記WSスケジュールを３日間に短縮し、来年度以降に実施予定の日本バージョンEACWSを開発するための試行・情報収集を目的としております。

　基本的に講義は英語、参加者ディスカッションは日本語とし、必要に応じて随時通訳を加えます。
